All about us
We are Paul, Lisa & our son, James (and Casper the crazy labrador). We are based in rural Derbyshire, in the heart of England. Our passion was refurbishing properties and bringing old and tired homes back to life for new families to enjoy. We soon realised that raising finance for our hobbies was often like pulling teeth, and took ages.

It was one summer afternoon in 2024 when we had an a-ha moment after waiting 25 minutes on hold to a bridging company who we had the pleasure of paying a ridiculous amount of money to borrow a relatively small amount for 6 months

You see, the lady we were buying from was mortgage free, didn't need the money from the sale urgently and had no idea what she was going to do with the proceeds of the sale. Earlier that week, we had seen "Dave" of "Bank of Dave" fame on TV, gushing about banking that was FOR the people rather than being all about profits. We put the two together and realised that that we had a concept that no-one else was offering.

The rest as they say, is history, and we've never looked back.

Now we don't profess this model to work for everyone. Many people do need the full proceeds, for instance to pay for care, or nursing home costs for example. But if a monthly income, at an interest rate far better than you can achieve in a savings account appeal to you, then please get in touch. We are proud to be able to say we make your property work FOR you, rather than it being a liability.

Mission
To turn property liabilities into cash-generating assets. To take all of the hassle and corporate financing out of property deals, and to give back to the vendors and landlords
Sustainability
Our "day jobs" before we started this journey were very related. Lisa was a property management consultant for Savills PLC, and Paul was head of product development for one of the worlds biggest boiler, solar panel and heat pump manufacturers, liaising daily with developers, contractors and installation teams to understand how to improve a building's carbon footprint.
